I don't think we get the "Whills" in Clone Wars but we do get the Brother, Sister and Father, which do expand the larger Force mythos. Then in Rebels we get the Bendu and World Between Worlds which expand it further.

And honestly I ultimately completely agree. Lucas noticed and ultimately picked up Filoni as someone to carry on the Star Wars legacy. Filoni is far from perfect but he was an excellent choice to carry on Star Wars when Lucas first found him. I think he's also an excellent choice now, but I think in a world where Lucas doesn't sell Star Wars I think working with Filoni they create an interesting future.

You look at how Filoni ultimately created an excellent Clone Wars, filling in the gaps between Episode 2 and Episode 3, greatly improving that story. If Lucas creates a sequel trilogy on par with the prequel trilogy, I bet Filoni can fill in the gaps.
