Are we not even trying to pretend we aren't an openly corrupt authorization oligarchy anymore?

Back in my day we at least tried to lie about it to the press.

It wasn't even an interview, it would have been an improvement if a reporter had had to squeeze this out of him. It was a completely voluntary Facebook tantrum.

That seems to be the defining feature of neofascism vs previous iterations and old school conservatism.

"Ironic" trolling and sarcastic, edgy cinicism eventually normalises mask-off, obscene lack of regard for any sense of truth or legal/ ethical lines.
