Positive news but...

While the renewables record was a sign of progress and illustrated that Australia was “marching towards a higher penetration renewable energy system”, it was not the main game in terms of emissions, he said.

“From an emissions perspective, what matters is the annual contributions and how much coal we are burning.”

good , call a turd a turd ... because this is not good, this is kicking the can down the road, our CO2 emissions have barely budged and we have no plan on how to do that because it can't be done under current policy, nor any proposed future policy.

the entire thing is a shit show of epic proportions and they keep making it worse.

Would the LNP be worse ? of course but the lesser of two evils is still evil, fuck voters.
