I kinda get why people hate Ubuntu, corporate enshittification attempts (ads in terminal) and various attempts of non-standard standard creation with partly closed source (snaps).

Why don't people hate fedora for being derived from a corporate OS paradigm and being geared towards achieving the goals of the red hat org interfering with community driven OS stuff? The last I saw of it inexplicitly was the proposed AI integrations.

I do understand there's been several spinoffs to even re-create redhat without having the guys in red hat be in charge (alma, rocky, etc), so some contention appears to exist, I just don't see what's going on properly.

EDIT : I guess Open Suse is too niche and german to recieve the same hate?

EDIT2 : OK, my mistake in perspective, but you need to throw me a bone in that Red Hat corporation is "under legal responsibility" of the Red Hat Company/business/whatever, and has employees working on it. The idea that Fedora is RHEL with things removed is pretty close to RHEL is Fedora with things added, especially since it's "Oh, we have X Red Hat employees working on Y features for Fedora , and Z Red Hat employees working on features for RHEL". The business entity of Red Hat is the one at the head (more or less) of both endevours, which leads to my question.

Why does this corporate relationship and "steering" not cause any ire? It's even owned by IBM at the end of it all.
