Minivans' case isn't really helped here in Europe by the fact that they're cheap econoboxes with 2 liter or smaller engines. The Chrysler minivan with its V6 is just about the only exception. And the Mercedes one, but that hasn't been available in well over a decade. We don't get the Sienna or the Odyssey for example.
