Given the quality of some of their cheaper cars, this is a probably a shitbox.

    You mean "their" as in general to the whole Chinese car industry including the shitboxes sold by GM under the Buick brand? Or only Xiaomi cars?

    Because Xiaomi exclusively sells luxury cars, their other "cheaper" model costs $35k, maybe you are confused for another brand?
