FTA:

First, in the Switch 2 version of Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, the base frame rate is targeted at 30 FPS in both handheld and TV modes. If you turn on frame generation in this state, a function that interpolates frames will be activated, allowing you to play with smooth visuals equivalent to 60 FPS.

Why not just make it run at 60fps though? Everyone who’s not insane turned intelligent frame creation off on their TV long ago.

For DD2, that would probably be an almost impossible task on Switch 2. At the very least, it would come close to rebuilding the entire game.
