Huh. The game is also coming to Switch 1?

I remember Bloodstained releasing on Switch 1 barely playable. It was also on XB1, PS4, and PC. Apparently it's never been fully playable on Switch 1? Maybe the Castlevania game will be better optimised.

I almost said "the real Castlevania game" but it's weird, you got the people who own the IP making the "real" one and the guy who made the best Castlevania games making the off-brand one. I'm betting on the new Bloodstained despite it seeming to use the two-characters-controlled-by-one-player gimmick Portrait of Ruin used that I hated, but I'm also excited for Castlevania's release as well. While Bloodstained was almost unanimously the best Metroidvania-type game out there, generally these games tend to build upon what has worked in the past, so that gives me hope for both of these games.

But I have less hope in the OG Switch's power to play this. As someone who does not have a Switch 2 though, I will absolutely try the demo, but I'm also no fool — unless the Switch 1 version is vastly cheaper than the XSX version, that's the one I'll be buying.
