First, in the Switch 2 version of Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, the base frame rate is targeted at 30 FPS in both handheld and TV modes. If you turn on frame generation in this state, a function that interpolates frames will be activated, allowing you to play with smooth visuals equivalent to 60 FPS.

Interesting. As a console gamer don't know much about frame generation, bur if it works, this could be pretty interesting, specially for a console like Switch 2.

I've only used it on PC and felt the visual artifacts were too distracting, but that was on a 27 inch monitor. On a small handheld screen, I think it could be more viable.

Let's hope so. Fortunately they are targeting stable 30fps even without it and will have the option to turn it off.

Have you tried the demo? As per the article the game will allow you to turn it on and off, but the demo doesn't have this setting and it will remain on. So, it might give some idea.
