I'll never forget Christmas 1979 or 1980 Dad bought the family our first gaming console, an Atari 2600, and I'll never forget that they said it cost $100, and apparently that was a lot of money back then. My dad was 30 years old and had bought the house we were living in when he was 26 years old, a newly built single -family home in a new subdivision, a 26-year-old supporting a family of 4 on one income 🤯
