It is probably a privacy nightmare, like any modern car. Biggest difference is probably in which law sphere you reside and if it has any meaningful data protection legislation.

probably the same as any other new car (i.e. not great). it has google OS on it , a cellular modem, gps, etc.

The Chinese are now putting voice control mics on the outside of some cars, but I'm assuming that's reserved for high end models for now. The idea being you can just say "open frunk" instead of having to press a button, etc.

They also have no reason to be better on privacy than everyone else.

You're not going to get privacy in any car made in the last 10 years or so.

I know the pain. My '07 skoda estate (which is old world speak for "extra long for the boot space") fits in my 1960s garage in a very small window to both allow the roller door to close and for the washing machine door to open. This same car gets blinded by headlights at head level, and is matched in length by the modern Renault 5.
