Sideloading Android apps will become such a hassle that the practice will effectively die.

Every savvy user will make this the first thing they do on a new Android phone.

As an iPhone guy — say what you will about my savviness — it’s the first thing I’d do on a new Android phone.

But I don’t want a Pixel, I want that new Fairphone. In green. I just don’t have $650 laying around to piss away on a phone.

    That green is nice...

A shame that theres basically no used Fairphones on the market - I'd love to give it a whirl and use pmOS with it, but I also dont have $650 :(

I bought a used one around a month ago for messing with pmOS. FP4 was the cheapest but I think I also saw used FP5 ones

Maybe look around markets in other countries?

Where'd you end up finding it? Swappa has nothing, their forum doesn't really seem to have many people selling (only looking for components)

    I guess swappa has a few for... $500-600 :(

Hm. "Swappa", $... I guess that might be of little help but I've got mine on Allegro - those fitters are set to only used. 600 zł is ~$150

Swappa is the only thing like eBay in your area? Where random people just sell used stuff?
Maybe Vinted? I don't use that one but, from an article about tabletop games, apparently not only clothes are sold there
