I feel this is just the posters giving away what rigid and predictable lives they live.

Cats know their feeding schedule, but a cat raised with a human who varies their routine doesn't do this.

Yeah I have ADHD and can't maintain a consistent routine and my cat does not give a shit other than getting fed.

Yeah, I don't feed my cats any of my food, essentially only do treats for claw trimming, and go to bed some time between 11 and 1. They are just hanging out all the time.
