I think the US has mostly phased out antibacterial soap. The FDA rescinded its authorization of triclosan and a bunch of other similar antibacterial ingredients in 2016 and prohibited the marketing of antibacterial soaps and body washes with those ingredients as antiseptic or antibacterial.

This particular contamination of these 6 recalled products are hand soaps that aren't antibacterial.

    No, it's still widely available. I have to have this argument with my wife on a regular basis.

    Huh, interesting. What brands are still marketing themselves as antibacterial soap, and what are their active ingredients?
