Suyu 0.0.4 also released a RetroArch core. Unfortuantely I couldn't get it working on Linux. I couldn't even compile it from source... anyone had luck?

I haven't gotten any of the switch emus working on linux. I eventually got where I could load a game but couldn't get past the main menu.

I have setup two standalone emulators, Yuzu and Ryujinx. They work well and have tested a bunch of games for short time. And I played both Zelda games for hundreds of hours on Yuzu (because it was a bit slow on Ryujinx). Even with mods. Setting first time up can be complicated. Some games even require newer firmware. You need firmware files and keys (the keys need to match the firmware). On Linux.

Which main menu do you mean? The emultors own menu?

Nah, the in game menu. It's been several months so it's hazy, but I think Mario Kart was the only game I got to successfully launch, but it wouldn't let me proceed past the menu. I was assuming it was some sort of phone home authentication problem but I'm not sure.
