I know this is a personal story but in Homer, AK there is a guy who feeds bald eagles every day with fish guts. And locally, everyone knows about it and just lets it happen. And there are dozens and dozens of bald eagles just hanging around the property, eating all the bits of fish that he throws out for them. They kinda are a bother but, hey, it's Alaska!
