You're walking down a converted rail trail. It's gravel, every step crunches. You see a small lump on the linear path in front of you. You wonder what it could be, probably just other people walking their dog. It's actually a man with recording himself talking. The camera tripod takes up the other half of the path, you slow your pace and eye the space in between. "Do you wait for him naturally move or ask him to move?" you wonder. And what it is recording and talking about? As you draw nearer you know he knows you're there. He didn't turn towards you, but he took half a step back while still staring at the camera.

He seems to be in the middle of an anime rant, specifically, in his words, "how fucking cool as fuck Mezzo Forte's animation is" and then something about an Original Animation Video. You stop for 5 seconds and he finally approaches the camera to turn it off. He apologizes and grabs the camera tripod like he's about to waltz with it. He's afraid you'll knock it over. You scoot over to the right, where he was standing. You notice he's dressed in hiking gear and there's a stack of notes wedged inside a closed 13" Macbook Pro.

As you walk past he says "I was thinking you'd just walk by-- the middle here -- I didn't mean to be in your way."

You just say sorry without turning around. He returns to recording and starts saying "and concerning the sexual violence of episode two, in my honest opinion, it was very tastefully done. I can't elaborate further without spoilers, but the idiots on AniList getting mad at it aren't even engaging with the text on its level here, I can assure you."
