I know it's just my personal experience but I see more people saying that people are enchanted by those characters than i've ever seen anyone actually admit to it. Maybe you have, I can't really argue that. I also disagree that it is a dangerous line to tread. Liking evil characters isn't anymore dangerous than liking violent video games like GTA

    I don't know about you but i see on social media defending and glazing toxic masculine figures such as Tyler Durden and Patrick Bateman. The profile of those admirers are typically lonely and insecure men, which another user has pointed out.
