Ah okay. I just use Klarna as a credit card type thing, and pay my invoice every month. 🤷‍♂️ Sorry, I wasn't aware it was used as a means to survive.

    Then why use it?

Edit: and you mean you pay the entire balance, not just the monthly bill, right?

To keep track of my finances. Also no need to make sure I have enough money on my debit account at the time of purchase. More flexibility, more control.

I pay the full balance of my monthly bill every month, correct. Every purchase is added to my monthly bill.

Klarna is for people who want to buy something but don't have enough money right now. It's helpful to them because it's interest-free so they can pay off little items over the course of several months without acquiring interest.

But if you have enough money to buy something & pay in full, just do that. No need to drag it out for months if you've got plenty of money in the bank.

So it's just a credit card with an above average time limit on when you pay interest.

Of course, only people that want to buy something and don't have enough money right now use credit cards.

You're describing the type of person they prey on, the exact type that should stay far away from it unless they have truly no other options.

Klarna is for people who […]

Well, Klarna is a free service, and I can use it however I like.

I use it to gather (all of) my financial transactions on a neat invoice so I can categorize them and keep a close tab on my family's budget. The invoice is paid by the next month, so it isn't "dragged out for months". I even have the physical Klarna card which you can also get free of charge.

This is very deliberate by me, so I don't need anybody to tell me what I should do instead. 👍
