incel influencers want you to remain an incel, for the same reason that dating apps want you to stay single: if what they were selling worked, you wouldn't need them anymore

So why aren't the organisations that make money from people coupling up (governments, mortgage providers, child care product makers, etc.) stepping up to provide something that actually works?

Because there's already a lot of working solutions like meeting people at work, sport, hobbies, going out, volunteering... Most people will find company if they don't ride dead horses like incel bs or dumb apps.

They often do. Especially nowadays, I see companies pushing "networking" events everywhere. Networking is just corporate speak for hanging out and forming relationships.
