Just switch to Zed and run a decent local model. If your vibe coding routine includes a loop through a roadmap doc or PRD then you can fill a few days working local models until Claude is back to fix their mistakes.

    People have also been using calculators and importing libraries for nearly a century, that doesn't mean they can't do computation by paper or write their own libraries. That's purist thinking and it is stupid.

    Actually coding is not as much fun as prompting models. It's the difference between work and play. Prompting is genuinely a fun thing to do. I don't do it for work.

    Couldn't be more different for me though, I'm missing being in the flow for hours, writing code. Now it's mindless context switching, and burning out because of looking at all the slop (often of others) that's just unnecessary garbage code... Wondering how this art has been degraded to so quickly...
