its nepotism and croniyism, if you had the chance of visiting the indeed forums before it was shutdown. monsters and ziprecruiter is probably the worst ones to use, compared to indeed and glassdoor, because thier listings tends to cater to people who had significant experience from the get-go.

    Ok yeah that is cronyism.

    But every single job I have ever had in my career has been through reference from someone I had worked with or for before. Someone I worked with moved on somewhere else and when there was an opening there, they threw my name in.
