The same basic thing also happened in 2013 for the Model S, was investigated by the NHTSA after 2 fires, and Tesla quickly offered a fix for free.

I wonder what changed that made Tesla so unafraid of the regulators by 2026? ;)

The glove compartment should include marshmallows on sticks. During your final moments, small gestures make all the difference.
