Then choose a different word entirely. Typing a bunch of asterisks is still swearing, but erroneously putting the swear on the shoulders of the reader, when in reality it just makes you look stupid as fuck.

I know I'm probably seen as an asshole, but it's so easy to trigger people when you don't actually give a fuck. All I did was basically ma*splain why the poster above used asterisks. Sometimes the word we want to use feels perfect even tho it makes us uncomfortable
