German: Nach ihren Gesundheitsproblem neulich (durch zu viel Gras fressen) darf Miez nun nur noch jeden dritten Abend raus. Im Gegenzug darf sie meinen Sessel für sich beanspruchen.

    If it is controlled and supervised time outside then I don't see an issue. Free roaming cats are what cause damage.

    Fully agreed. Would she catch birds, I would have serious issues with that. But her being an inside cat for most of her life plus a lamp on her collar, this thankfully ain't an issue at all. I track her all the time she's outside, so I know exactly at which neighbour's garden she is at sitting in front of mouse holes and can summon her at will (which she knows is a call for treats so she listens to it closely).
