Fun fact: the human brain can process speech considerably faster than the human vocalization systems can form it, so you can probably watch most videos on 1.25-1.75 speed wothout missing much, it just takes some adjustment.

At this point I cant watch people talking at a camera on anything slower than 1.5, because thats just the default videos play in (changed a setting on freetube and now cant stand slow), but I have watched 6+ hour videos that way. It cuts a substantial amount of time, and the speed up helps keep me engaged.

A movie is two hours of entertainment, this is two hours of a person talking about tv's podcast style without a story. Big difference.

Just don't watch it. Nobody is forcing you to watch it. But bragging about keeping yourself ignorant solely because you are too lazy to sit and consume media longer than tiktok videos is not a good look for you.

  • Bruh, nobody here is bragging. We're simply agreeing that watching one guy talk to a camera for two hours is about as entertaining as watching paint dry. I sat down and binge watched six movies the other day so no, staying engaged with content longer than a tiktok isn't my issue.
