You're making us look bad." Even fucking Reagan was quick to make them de-escalate. You might want to forget why the Democrats got ravaged in 2024, but we won't forget when it comes time for the Democrats to try to claim they're the good guys totally unlike the bad guys again. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 6 child comments replies: [–] hoppeduponcoffee@lemmy.zip 3 points 17 hours ago* (last edited 17 hours ago) Did Joe have the same pro-Israel policy as every president since 1948? Yes. Did he crash the economy straight into stagflation, use the levers of power to establish a fascist government, and start targeting minority groups? Blowing up civilians and invading other countries without even a pretense or declaration of war? Did he set us back decades? No. Trump and Biden are not even a comparison. I’d take Biden back in a heartbeat regardless of what I think of liberal Dems. It’s the difference between a rug burn and being microwaved alive. Equating a monster to a typical shit capitalist politician isn’t logical. permalink fedilink source parent [–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 3 points 21 hours ago gEnOcIdE jOe permalink fedilink source parent [–] i_am_not_a_robot@discuss.tchncs.de 9 points 1 day ago Even if that made sense, asking whether he should serve another term is just a distraction for people with weak critical thinking. Biden dropped out in 2024, is not currently president, and is not going to run for president in 2028 or any future year. There's a less capable person currently serving as president. permalink fedilink source parent
