    How are most people here defending the person repeatedly initiating unwanted contact and not the person defending themselves?? He used the minimum amount of force necessary to maintain his personal space while she threatened him with a bottle(!), do you have any idea how dangerous a bottle can be as a weapon?

    Yeah delivering a kick to her while she's on the ground after he shoved her is the minimum amount of force necessary, I'm sure.

    She was well within her rights to protect herself after that.
