Edit: The statistic does not include all EU nations. Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands are the largest one's missing from what I can see.

The EU has 100,000,000 more inhabitants by the way.

Also most rapes are domestic. That's also the primary reason for the lack of reports - people do not want their marriage to end, their families/friends to turn their backs etc. What use is a gun here?
