This is it.

“When ballots are submitted to USPS in large-volume batches, if any one ballot in the batch cannot be verified against the Portal, all ballots in that batch will be rejected. For example, if a state election official brings a batch of 10,000 ballots to USPS and USPS is unable to match just one of those ballots against the Portal—because, for example, someone has recently changed their name after marriage or they’ve moved—then USPS would refuse to mail the remaining 9,999 ballots as well.”

This is just the beginning of them fucking around with mail in ballots. Mail in ballots are historically held to a much stricter standard and are more easily discarded than in person ballots, and this administration, in its desperation to cling to power and avoid repercussions of their actions, will do anything they can to ensure that your ballot wont count if its a mail in ballot.

Which is why its so goddamn important for you to go vote in person in this election. I know its an annoyance to go do, but lots of places have early voting that you can go do and typically be done in surprisingly little time.. So, unless you are so heavily disabled/laid up/etc that you physically cant get out of the house.. You really need to bite the bullet and go vote in person, no matter what it takes.

because it may very well be the last chance you have to cast a vote that counts.
