Iโ€™m quite aware of the theory and how regulations apply.

From what I see there is no functional difference between Amazon and AliExpress though. Both seem to largely skim QC. Itโ€™s also generally self-certified so the whole point is relatively irrelevant.

No one will sue AliExpress or Amazon from a small consumer perspective.

But politics for sure love to toy with China more than USA.

From where I sit it all seems very much posturing.
