Europe is all skinny because they can barely afford to eat. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] StupidBrotherInLaw@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago (2 children) Whaaaat now? I've recently been in the States and Germany. German supermarket prices were about 2/3 the cost of the same in the US, and the quality was leagues better. They would literally starve to death because they're not used to having such few calories. When all the Europeans came to America for the world cup, they were amazed by our variety of food. They praised us for having the best food in the world from all over the world. So many of the soccer players decided to just apply for Visas because they don't have to pay tax like they do in Europe and they could actually get their calories in and perform better. So many of them said that compared to the United States Europeans are rationing every single day. For example, Costco's don't make sense in Europe because people just can't buy that much at one time. Socialism forces you to not have the freedom to buy it! In the US I just need to take one trip to the store and I'm done for 2 weeks, but in Europe they don't allow you to do that because it will break their socialistic system. Also, the amount of meat that I could buy here is just amazing. Europeans can't have barbecues because they just can't have the meat like it's illegal permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] StupidBrotherInLaw@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago Lol, obvious troll is obvious.
