To clarify, is this talking about winning entire state gov elections? As in, in the future, ON wins QLD? I look at the long-term damage done by someone like Bjelke-Petersen.

A couple of seats gives them power but can backfire. Giving them a government allows for serious political corruption and more ability to maintain their power.

If this ABC podcast episode backed up that comment with some analysis, I'd like to give it a quick listen. Was it just recent?

To be clear: I'm not suggesting some elections should be thrown, to allow ONP to win some seats or form government. Of course, every election needs to be fought.

Its more like, the silver lining is that populist governments can't govern, and in Australia an ONO state government would likely prevent an ONP federal government.

IDK if I'd call it "analysis", but I'll see if I can find the ep. It was recent but there's a lot of episodes and this wasn't the main subject.
