Ok, two things:
1 - Do you NEED to map them? Or do you just need to access them? If they were previously shared with Windows, that means they are SMB shares, which on most file managers can be accessed via the network section or by writing smb://<user>@<address> in the location bar. This doesn't work perfectly all the time, for example if you want to drag and drop a file from the share onto a browser upload page, it usually doesn't work.
2 - Have you successfully mounted them with mount already?
