I need to map network shares from my Synology NAS and also from a Win11 Pro desktop. There are just so many variations on how to do this. All I need to do is map drive letters to shares on startup so they are always available.

Hi,

Not super familiar with Synology anymore but you need to create a samba/smb share as well as a user to mount with. For windows it will be straight forward and like any other share.. For Ubuntu you'd need to look into how to mount a smb share into Ubuntu. I can try to find a guide that explains it well or you can do it yourself as well if you'd like
