I wonder if a collective effort to track who places unjustified DMCA claims and in whose name could change anything. Making working with those kinds of companies a publicity risk.

    It's not as if most people care. Nintendo's hyper-litigiousness also hasn't hurt their image of the wholesome games company run by people whose main goal is to give the market good games.

    The truth is that by and large nobody gives a shit about fraudulent DMCA claims, not even the DMCA provision that outlaws them.
