I think the reason excel is always there like a cockroach is that it gives people programming capabilities without programming

    well, it's available, and it's structured. The interface is easy and flexible. It's like the perfect gateway drug to automating things, it's just slow, versioning is questionable and they keep chaning things that can break the more ambitious hacks
