I have caught the bus into the city recently, a big ol bendy boy, and I was the only one to thank the driver. When did everyone stop thanking the driver?
My save for others when they do that is just to be like "Morning is a state if mind" or something. It's a common gaffe and tbh people who's lives aren't ruled by clocks are usually nicer.
