Gender-nonconforming cisgender lesbian, gay, bisexual and queer employees were also more likely to be out at work. About two-thirds [68 percent] said they were out as lesbian, gay, bisexual or queer to their supervisor, compared with 50 percent of gender-conforming employees.

Okay so tell the cishet people to stop wearing gendered clothing and talking about their wives/husbands etc.

Cisnormativity is shoved down all our throats every day.

You can’t get it all your way and say it’s too much when someone else does it.

When almost all people have a cisnormative sexuality, you can't act surprised when your sexuality is not appreciated at work. And it's not being suppressed to not be allowed to display it at work either. It would disturb the entire workplace. That's why you get discriminated.

And you know this, but you still try to force your will, and expect others to accept your sexuality in their face when they don't want to see it. They are trying to do their job.
