No manipulating votes via bots or alt accounts; this will result in permanent bans. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in an account ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be permanently banned.

In a roundabout way, this move is meant to keep feeding areas available, probably for cows. Most of these slaughtered horses will end up being glue and animal feed. While they've done a fantastic job of 'reducing regulations' I don't think we're quite at wild horse meat substitutions for beef.

Maybe not so fun fact, cheval is horse meat, not legal in the us, much like beef they are raised in really specific ways, so I kind of doubt these wild horses will be good for consumption.
