I was serious when I said that an inability to engage with the very fundamental reality that this is a settler-colonial system disqualifies you from a serious discussion on the topic. That is not purity politics, that is recognition of the pervasive nature of the social constructs that system relies on and the opposing interests that exist between colonizer and colonized.
