I totally agree. I also think that the whole field since the 80s should be studied in social science as a masterclass in how corporate interests can influence public discourse and government policy to achieve outcomes that benefit business at the expense of people and the environment.

    This along with the tobacco, asbestos, glyphosate and a few others; where corporate interests subverted scientific evidence to influence policy to ensure that their business interests are favored.
