Pretty sure it may have been your feed, because about 33% of my front page and /r/all are political (slightly more on /r/all at this point).

Not that it matters all that much to me. The reddit hive mind tolerates precisely one political voice, and angrily shouts down anyone outside of the orthodoxy including people very, very near to them in most/all issues but not total perfect alignment. If Reddit proper were serious about turning things around, the first thing they would do is rethink the account BS they just pulled, and the second would be using their pretty decent fingerprinting techniques against supermods to ensure nobody can mod more than 5 subreddits (and site-wide ban evaders). The third would be to ban instances of auto mod being used to preemptively auto ban people for engaging in subreddits (or previously using key words) they don't like.

I miss the old reddit. The reddit built by and for tech enthusiasts and tech pros instead of it being a political launchpad.

I'm just looking at https://redlib.catsarch.com/, which is a privacy focused API parsing of /r/All - allows you to view without logging in or providing any info to the algo. Political content took a dive roughly 3 weeks ago, right around the time they locked down /r/all. It's pretty much all memes and AITA dramajerk subs now, at least to an outside viewer.
