A changing climate increases the health risks posed by extreme weather. However, according to the 2024 Yale Climate Opinion Maps, only 47% of U.S. survey participants believed that global warming would harm them personally.

You'd be wrong about people being aware. I've seen people jogging in 150+ AQI from fires and most people not wearing masks.

People are very blissfully unaware.

But yeah, a real survey would be a much better source of information.
