I think americans education lacks desperately yeah but after a bad enough war they'll maybe finally see why we need international rules. Why would anyone not sign it, do they want to be able to make rules that justify crimes against humanity or war crimes? Unless you're doing shady stuff. And the lobbying of rich companies that want to keep resources poor, so maybe we should start with taxing big companies way more then and limiting the sum amount of assets someone can have, say 1M-10M. Cause the lobbying for human rights and average people seems nonexistent
