I think kids will be just fine without social media until they’re 15. Especially if it’s a blanket ban of every kid before then. Theres other ways to interact as a kid with your peers.

    Its not a problem about the kids. Its about adults having to provide an PII (ID) for social media access.

    Exactly. Kids are just a shitty excuse, same goes for the whole Chat Control project.

    There are so many other ways of working on a sefer internet for kids, such as regulation on the social medias companies themselves, forcing them to make the algo open source, preventing them from promoting toxic content etc...
