No I got unlucky and my ancesters are fascists. It is what it is
Consider your existence a victory over that shite ideological doorstop, comrade.
It brings me joy to think of them rolling in their graves
The circumstances of your birth are irrelevant. You are what you choose to be, comrade shark fucker
So are mine, my nonno was a Mussolini supporter. He was also the rarest form of fascist, a pacifist. In true Italian fashion despite supporting Mussolini he emigrated internationally instead of staying to help build fascism.
It helps me feel like the right kind of class traitor though so I don't mind.
I didn't know that kind of guy existed. Neat. I got a bunch of Quislings on one side of my family and Germans who conspicuously moved to the US in 1946. Most of my family these days is just bog standard liberals with one or two major trump supporters. Weirdly the furthest left is my grandmother who's father at least sympathized with fascists.
I don't think my Nonno was an ideological fascist to be fair. My mother says he supported Mussolini because "kids had bikes and the trains ran on time." He was apparently supposed to be a tanker in the Africa corps but the transport with the tanks was sunk and he left to Switzerland afterwards.
My mother says he didn't kill bugs in the house, he just released them outside. I don't know if "pacifist" is the right word due to the political connotations behind it, but he was anti 'him doing violence'.
I've also got German family but they left for Poland in the early 30s then internationally in the mid to late 30s. Someone on that side was a clairvoyant I think. Also apparently my grandfather's grandfather was a political pacifist who was drafted into the German military. He served in the band.
Mine were all American empire supporting liberals (hey that's a double tautology!)
