Did you know you can actually turn off your watch history, and it will stop recommending videos entirely?
I did it a while back to help stop me from refresh-addiction, and it totally works! You still get a subscription feed but it's chronological, and it will still suggest relevant videos in the sidebar when you're watching something.

    Nope. I set up the browser on my computer and phone to delete all cookies from youtube every time I close the window/tab.

    Every time I rock up to youtube, it's like I'm visiting for the first time. Zero recommendations. "Try searching to get started!"

    I watch a couple videos, I close the tab. Next time I open youtube? Zero recommendations again. It's awesome.
