I speak for all Marxists and the entirety of the theory when I say that I wish Strange New Worlds would have been planned around season long narrative arcs, less Spock struggling with his human half, and less relationships involving Spock.

It's actually pretty sad that of the recent series most recently released it was Lower Decks that was most faithful to the spirit of prior classics
Oh god please no no one at bad robot knows how to write a plot longer than 43 minutes. They'd have Spock struggling with human emotions and relationships but also gibberish about a time travelling BLUE angel this time
oh damn that's pretty true. I failed to consider who is writing it. I just kept seeing them bring up interesting sci fi themes or philosophies and then just go "isn't that weird?" and throw it away after 43 minutes. They could have had a whole season about his wife's arc. They could have had a whole season about border disputes. This current season could have been a whole season about Pike's episode 1 predicted death.
Also they could have had Ortegas and La'an on screen for 99% of runtime but they chose not to for some reason.
They knew I would watch and wanted to personally attack me
