The people that scream the loudest about being hard working or intelligent usually aren't. If someone is good at something, they don't need to point it out.

    Or they feel so much imposter syndrome that they keep quiet.

    I mean I am probably not even good enough to have imposter syndrome, its probably the Dunning Kruger effect.

    Oh absolutely 110%. I could count on all my and your fingers and toes the number of coworkers I've had who spent half the day walking around chitchatting that they were the hardest worker, first in last out...they undeniably never were.

    What's worse than both is "I've been doing this for X amount of years!" Because then they're both dumb and incompetent. If they say they have 20 years of experience usually it means 20X1st year of experience.
